The hall is an official meeting place for Freemasons within the Province of Gloucestershire Province which is under the jurisdiction of the United Grand Lodge of England.

The hall is also home to a Lodge of Instruction which is open to all master masons and meets every Friday evening from September to May (Excluding December).
